Dr Annamaria Deganello MD

Dr Annamaria Deganello is a consultant paediatric radiologist at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and was appointed in 2013. Dr Deganello qualified in 2004 from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Padua (Italy), and trained in radiology at the Policlinico Hospital of Padua and at King's College Hospital. She was awarded the Specialisation Diploma in Radiology in Italy in 2009. Dr Deganello has a special interest in the imaging of paediatric hepatobiliary diseases, liver transplant and paediatric trauma; she is also part of the team pioneering the use of contrast-enhanced ultrasound in the imaging of children with liver disease and following trauma. Dr Deganello is the author and co-author of a number of peer-reviewed publications and book chapters and has been an invited lecturer for her expertise at various national and international congresses.
