Our comprehensive Vascular ultrasound course covers the application of ultrasound techniques in the investigation of abdominal, extra & intra-cranial and peripheral vasculature. The emphasis will be on practical hands-on workshops using a range of ultrasound systems and there will be opportunity to use a limb phantom for training in ultrasound monitoring of EVLA procedures.

- Upper limb vasculature · Ultrasound imaging in surgical practice

- Ultrasound monitoring of haemodialysis · Artefacts and errors
Each clinical lecture will cover: normal vasculature and variants; examination protocols; diagnostic criteria; case histories; pitfalls in interpretation

Bournemouth Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Course: 26-27 September 2018
Approved by the EFSUMB (European Federation of Societies for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology), ECOSEP (European College of Sports and Exercise Physicians) and BASEM (British Association of Sports and Exercise Medicine). The aim of the course is to educate and train musculoskeletal practitioners in the safe and competent use of diagnostic ultrasound imaging in the visualisation and interpretation of musculoskeletal conditions.
This course provides essential ultrasound skills in MSK leading to the accreditation of clinical competency as a prerequisite for safe practice.
(Opportunities also exist to study for an MSc in MSK ultrasound).
