Rectal endometriosis represents an uncommon localization of pelvic endometriosis. Whilst the frequency of bowel endometriosis is unknown, about 90% is localized on the sigmoid or rectum. Endometriosis should be included in the differential diagnosis for female patients of reproductive age with chronic pelvic pain in combination with defecation disorders. The submucosal mass of endometriosis was localised in the rectum, infiltrating the muscularis propria. Prior to this, the patient has already undergone surgery for ureteral endometriosis.
